SKS Business Services celebrate after beating global giant Capgemini as Best Finance Outsourcing Company in UK; Accounts Outsourcing Team.
SKS NOA Awards
In a David vs Goliath battle, Twickenham-based chartered accountants SKS Business Services celebrated being recognised by the National Outsourcing Association (NOA) as the UK’s “Best Finance & Accounts Outsourcing Team” at the NOA Awards in July 2013, having beat global giant Capgemini to top spot.
SKS Business Services (a small but expanding UK firm) beat Capgemini thanks to adopting a ‘shared services’ model bringing the efficiencies, global skills and technology enjoyed by large corporations to help SMEs and Small Cap companies.
SKS provides the whole accounting process – from bookkeeping to management accounts, to year-end functions. This provides best value to the client as each process is complementary to the next so that quarterly and year-end accounts become a formality.
The NOA is an industry association that has been the centre of excellence for outsourcing for Britain and Europe for over 25 years. The Best Finance & Accounts award focused on evidence of how finance and accounts functions have benefited clients, especially in efficiency and service delivery.
Sanjay Swarup, Director at SKS said:
“SKS was founded in 2007 and we are all about providing high-quality accounting and finance outsourcing services to smaller and mid-sized businesses. Most important is the provision of management accounts. Better and more timely management information allows businesses to make better decisions, particularly in these uncertain times, and SKS’s innovative approach allows our clients to get this at a lower overall cost.
Where the work is done by qualified accountants and there is a UK-based team to supervise, the quality is at least as good as an in-house or in-country team. Larger companies use ‘right-sourcing’, which recognise that hybrid solutions can provide the best fit and we are successfully applying this approach to realise benefits for smaller businesses.”
